Cheap Flights

Who doesn’t love a good travel deal? I’ve long told people the most expensive part of flying to far-away places like Thailand, Cambodia and Colombia is the airfare, and once you get there it’s extremely cheap.

But now, I’ve discovered a site that can make the airfare cheap, too!

Scott’s Cheap Flights is a (free!) subscription service. They scrounge the internet for daily “mistake fares” that airlines frequently make, and share them to your inbox. I’ve seen deals for RT flights to Cancun for $266, to Frankfurt for $469, to Athens for $500…and I’ve only just begun!

Things to keep in mind:

  • This is a (free) subscription service, so you’ll get daily emails
  • There is an option to upgrade to the premium services for only $39/year
  • The deals are usually only good for a day or two, so it requires some spontaneity
  • But you can book the deals for quite far into the future (up to one year, usually)
  • It’s currently only for those flying from the U.S. and Canada
  • It can feed your wanderlust, or simply make it worse. The choice is yours!

Click here for my affiliate link. I’ll make $5 if you sign up for the premium service (at no extra cost to you), but I would (and have!) promote this site for free. It’s unique, it’s cheap, it’s amazing.
